Blue Robin Donates $6,000 to Upgrade the Solar Alliance Web Infrastructure
Waltham, MA January 2009…Blue Robin, Inc. announced today that the company has donated $6000 to improve the Solar Alliance web Infrastructure. Solar Alliance is a state-based advocacy group of companies involved in the design, manufacture, construction and financing of Photovoltaic systems.
Preserving the Solar Alliance Web brand, Blue Robin has re-built the web site on .NET platform to include a powerful Content and Document Management System using Microsoft SQL back end. The new web infrastructure also includes an Intranet with user rights and permission. The web site allows users to take full advantage of these modules, to publish and manage content via a browser-based interface, requiring no knowledge of HTML or other programming languages.
Blue Robin’s CMS provides an easy-to-use platform to create, edit, manage, and publish content in a consistently organized fashion. It helps Solar Alliance in creating, storing, controlling, versioning and publishing industry-specific content such as news, articles, white papers and other type of digital content. The content/document management system supports many different file types, including image media, audio files, video files, electronic documents and web content.
